The construction services firm Gafcon recently formed a new strategic partnership with Kahua, a creative of a global collaborative network for real estate and construction project management.

The partnership will leverage Gafcon's decades of specialized experience in program and project management consulting.

"Together, Kahua and Gafcon will offer innovative solutions, bringing efficiency, configurability, visibility and control to every layer of capital programs," the companies said in a joint statement.

"Transformation in our industry requires a combination of technology, business intelligence and consulting expertise," Kahua's President Brian Moore said. "Gafcon, is an ideal partner for Kahua. Their consulting expertise will provide exciting new solutions for our customers in The Kahua Network."

Delivered as a secure, scalable Application Platform-as-a-Service, The Kahua Network enables users to share data, documents and workflows across all applications and projects, and among all authorized network participants.

Kahua supports leading mobile devices and tablets, integrates with third-party applications, and numerous accounting systems, and enables customers and certified development partners to quickly modify existing applications or build custom applications that operate on The Kahua Network.

"As a trusted advisor to many public and private owners, we have found one of the most often asked questions is how to align contractor's software with owners," Said Tiffany LaBruno, Gafcon's director of professional services. "With Kahua's project sharing options, that question is now answered."

Gafcon provides construction, project, and program management services, as well as technology solutions.

The San Diego-based firm has been involved in projects throughout the world. It has acted as a construction manager, developer and a consulting company. The firm is currently planning the redevelopment of the Seaport Village property into a major mixed-use development.
