Gafcon, Inc. was selected to provide construction management services for the 240,000 SF apartment and commercial office building in the Little Italy community of San Diego. The building encompasses a 28-story tower with two surrounding eight-story and 12-story towers. The high-rise, mixed-use building includes 201 residential units, 9,000 SF of commercial space, four levels of underground parking, an infinity pool, view deck, and 8,456 SF of retail/commercial space.
This was the first San Diego project for Allegro Towers. The Gafcon, Inc. construction management team worked closely with Allegro’s in-house project manager, introducing him to the San Diego building industry and assisting him to build key business relationships. Gafcon, Inc. managed the contractor bidding process, assisted in the final contract/general conditions negotiations, and successfully managed the City building permit process.
