At 65,000 SF, Beth Israel School and Sanctuary consists of a sanctuary, social hall, pre-school, day school, religious school, meeting rooms, administration complex, and a large commercial kitchen. Gafcon provided full pre-construction and construction management services to this project.
Utilizing an Old Jerusalem theme, the complex design included exterior and interior features that integrated three domes, tower lantern,s and a large courtyard. Included in the project was a sanctuary, designed with an open ceiling and tubular steel trusses with a lattice of cedar strips on the underside.
